The Blocks Revisited & Rediscovered documents the fascinating story of Thomas Bewick's personal blocks and their historical journey to Chicago in 1942. Many of these blocks found new homes quickly in the midwest and across America, while others became well-travelled, eventually making their way back to England. This work by The Hesterberg Press documents all known collections in 2008 and features fourteen original blocks printed damp and thirty-five reproduced from the Memorial Edition. Color photographs of Bewick and his toolbox were included as tip-ins, along with a group photograph of blocks acquired by the Hesterberg Press. Those blocks are now back home in the UK.
